LAN/WAN Installations: Xtra Leasing Corporation supplies the huge cargo crates that you see being loaded onto freight ships. They called on GOS to implement an inventory tracking system throughout their offices in 21 countries. GOS Installed the LAN to WAN Networks in 14 of the 21 Countries. Disaster and Recovery: After the bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993, GOS was brought in to prepare a Disaster Recovery Plan for the Port of Authority. Over the course of a year we designed a comprehensive plan and prepared a Disaster Recovery Manual. This plan was subsequently adopted and put into use. We also surveyed potential Recovery Sites and made recommendations to the Port Authority of New York as to preferred locations.

Speech Recognition:

Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) was looking for a way to improve their Voice Network. They wanted new technology that would handle call routing without the assistance of an operator. FRB wanted a solution to handle both Internal and External phone calls. FRB also wanted to save time wasted by employees searching for extensions numbers or spelling of last names to contact co-workers.
BSF, Inc. installed the Pure ReQuest System. Now FRB Employees only have to say the name of the Person or Department they wish to speak with. FRB Employees no longer have to remember extension numbers or proper spelling of co-workers to complete a phone call.
The company?s phone directory was no longer needed and this eliminated the cost for publishing and updates of the directory. (One of many cost savings)
FRB was so satisfied now they extended this for incoming calls to eliminate their Customers from getting frustrated when trying to reach a Person or a Department.

Equant/SITA/ITS has the single largest private communications network in the world. It is used by all the Major Airline Carriers for processing Reservations, Email and data communications traffic. GOS worked closely with SITA/ITS on these projects including the design and installation of Nodal Communications Centers in more than 25 facilities throughout North and South America.

When Trader Advertising Media needed help with data migration for its proprietary software it called on GOS. We installed the servers and migrated the data in all their offices covering 28 cities throughout the United States.

From 1999 to present GOS has performed CAT5 and Fiber Installations at AVIS and Cendant sites throughout North America. This Project also includes Circuit Extensions at Airport locations, which includes installing HUBS, Cisco Routers, Patch Panels, Cabling, Fiber, Testing and Certification.

Avis contracted GOS to performed Site Surveys and Asset Inventory. The Site Surveys included Digital Pictures and VISIO Drawings for each site. This was a comprehensive Site Survey Package, including all Communications Equipment, Circuits with ID numbers and Floor Plans This was put on the AVIS and Cendant network for all Departments to use when upgrading or adding Equipment to the sites. Cost savings was created by eliminating duplicate Circuits and Circuits that were no longer in use.
